Hand crafted sterling silver sea glass necklace fit for a mermaid!
I have been obsessed with sea glass since i first started visiting the beach in my early 20's. I have such a deep affinity to the ocean and have always been attracted to the glowing treasures washed up by the ocean. Over the years i have accumulated quite the collection and it feels really good to finally share my treasure with others. This particular piece was found on the North East coast of the UK on a family day out.
This one of a kind, sea glass necklace could have been washed up onto the beach itself! Encrusted with hand formed tiny barnacles, the mermaids tail cut out from the back reflects through the sea glass and i have antiqued the finished piece to highlight and enhance the details.
Hung from a weighty 3+1 figaro style chain, the finished piece is nothing short of stunning!
